– Midweek & Weekends: 2 night minimum stay
– Long Weekends: 3 night minimum stay
– Melbourne Cup Weekend: 4 night minimum stay
– Easter: 5 night minimum stay
– Christmas/New Year: 5 night minimum stay
Maximum occupancy 8 guests, including children aged 2 years and over.
Accommodation must only be used for private/residential use, and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation. The person whose name is on the booking confirmation is responsible for the behaviour of all members of the party and their guests.
If the number of guests exceed the number of guests booked, we reserve the right to charge additional fees as specified on the website.
A $500 security bond will be held against your nominated credit card but not charged unless required. This will be as security to cover any costs incurred including breakage, damage, extra cleaning, additional guests, or other costs incurred due to guest actions.
Upon booking, guests hereby accept the Terms and Conditions and agree for any extra charges to be deducted from their nominated credit card. Credit card details will be held by the authorised payment system, Stripe.
Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to arrival date will be entitled to a 100% refund of money paid.
Cancellations notified less than 30 days prior to arrival date will forfeit the full amount paid.
When a booking has been made less than 30 days prior to arrival date and cancelled the full amount paid will be forfeited.
Golton in the Gap is self-contained accommodation and is not subject to daily servicing or replenishment.
Essentials such as toilet paper, soap and other disposable items are provided to get you started for the first few days of your stay.
Children under 2 years of age are welcome to stay free of charge, provided they are always accompanied by an adult. There is a portable cot and a highchair available for guest use.
Cot linen available on request for $25.
All linen and bedding is supplied. Linen is professionally laundered to meet current guidelines and Australian standards.
It is the responsibility of guests to ensure the safe keeping of keys for the duration of the stay. Prior to departure, keys must be returned and safely stored in the locked key safe. A $100 call out fee will be charged to your nominated credit card if management are required to attend for a lock out or lost key.
Guests are required to leave the property in the same neat and tidy condition, as it was upon arrival. We ask you to treat our property with care, and to show respect for our guest services staff.
Please place all rubbish in bins provided, wipe kitchen surfaces and ensure all dishes are washed.
Although we understand that accidents do happen, obvious indiscriminate damage and uncleanliness in the house is not acceptable. Evidence of such abuse or wilful damage will incur additional charges for cleaning, repairs, and replacements. Please report any accidents or breakages as soon as possible. If it is a larger issue (e.g., the TV screen) we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later.
Please do not move or rearrange the furniture, as it can cause unnecessary damage and requires additional cleaning time, which can be charged to your nominated credit card.
Strictly NO PETS allowed. Evidence of pets at the property will incur full loss of security bond ie $500.
Strictly NO SMOKING. If there is evidence of smoking inside the property, a minimum fee of $200 will be charged to cover additional cleaning.
